How the World Spends Its Time Online

The average American spends more than 60 hours a month online. This is the equivalent of 30 straight days a year.

Among Internet users, 80 percent in Brazil use social network sites. Other countries with high percentages include Italy (73 percent), Spain (75 percent), Japan (70 percent), The United States (67 percent), The United Kingdom (69 percent), France  (67 percent), Australia (59 percent), Germany (51 percent) and Switzerland (51 percent).

Social Benefits Top Internet Drawbacks, Survey Finds

Internet technologists see the social benefits of the Internet far outweighing any negative effects, according to a survey of 900 technologists. Researchers from Elon University and the Pew Research Center said the Internet “lowers traditional communication constraints.” Still, the survey urged younger people to develop face-to-face relationships.

How to add LinkedIn Tab to a Facebook Page

You can now add a LinkedIn tab to your Facebook profile, making it easier to connect.

It’s easy, while logged in …

1. Go to the LinkedIn Facebook page >


3. Enter your LinkedIn profile link.  Important! To add the “LinkedIn” tab to your profile click the button “Add Profile Tab”.

You then can go to your profile page and it will appear in the tabs. If you are not seeing it, you may be multiple tabs and click on the >> to see the rest of the list.  Simply drag the tab over to the position you prefer.
